" No English Queen has made more impact on the history of the nation than Anne Boleyn, and few have been so persistently maligned. "

Lucrezia looked down at her. The white dress was a dream, but its sight awakened so many different emotions. Her wedding day was near and joy and fear fought in her. But in this moment a smile was on her lips. She was about to marry a wonderful man and she knew Bash would do anything to make her happy. The bride felt a sudden gaze upon her and she noticed Anne in the door.

“Anne! How do I look?” Exited she waited for her friend’s opinion.

———— It was understood that their Lover’s Quarrel would soon end and the reality of statuses and large masses of water would separate them both. Anne hadn’t anticipate that BASH would be so eager to wed someone before she was to leave for England. It was sickening, almost as though he were driving a dagger into her chest and stating that he was better off without her. As if to trouble her mind even further, Bash chose to wed LUCREZIA – a dear friend Anne had grown close to and respected.

A paid visit to Lucrezia’s chambers only seemed appropriate. On her own request, Anne insisted that her father allow her passage back to England before the celebratory event of Bash and Lucrezia’s union. She didn’t want to place her emotions in harm’s way and gave herself the excusing words of  – ‘I’m excited to return home, anyway’ – to convince her that things were better off this way. This was to be the last she would see of Lucerzia and she stood before Anne as an Angel in a white dress. It seemed fitting, anyway for her – Anne couldn’t see herself in white for her wedding and thought that  B L A C K  seemed more appropriate. A smile spread across her lips, presenting a look of joy for the other and masked the true heartbreak she had felt. It took all will and power for Anne to do so, but with her sister MARY’S heeding words, echoing in her mind, it was best not to start a quarrel with a bride-to-be. Especially with someone like Lucrezia. You look wonderful, Lucrezia, Anne answered sincerely. You appear as the true epitome of an angel.
