“Please convince me that I do not need to buy these shoes.” She twists her foot to examine the make, the fit, the way the shoe molds to her foot as though made for her. “My closet will literally explode if I add another pair of shoes to it.”
❝ You do realize that you’re asking me – a FASHION ADICCT – to talk you out of buying a pair of shoes, right?❞ Her eyebrows quirked, questioning the other’s thoughts and examined the item she displayed on her foot. ❝ But if your closet is about to ‘ explode ’, I’d say that that could be a reasonable excuse to N O T buy them.❞
Surely Anne didn’t believe that he had just come on a social visit. Henry wouldn’t have sent him without a purpose. He wouldn’t have come to see her face to face if there hadn’t been something that he hadn’t intended to TAKE from her. He has come here to try and do things the easy way, the nice way, if it might be called that. But it seemed unlikely that she choose this path. But Thomas has moved mountains before. Besides, doesn’t she already know that what Henry wants, he gets? She argues, as if that might dissuade Thomas from his purpose here. He already knew that Henry was no saint. But who was Thomas to judge another’s sins? “Is she?” He asked, head titling ever so slightly. “Consider your profession… I can only imagine the types of people that you might encounter. That you might enrage. And you think that she is safe? Nothing would ever happen to her if she was with Henry.” No one would dare touch her, lest they wish to have his wrath rain down upon them.
What he could give, Henry had the ability to take back. Their daughter – her CHILD – had been one of the many things that would stand as a symbol of this action that her ex-husband often took part of, and Anne would not allow him to behave like a MONARCH. It was often that she saw Henry push people around, both innocent or not, to do his bidding – Thomas Cromwell had been one of those people and it was shameful that he did so for himself and for her daughter’s father. Her hands gripped at the edge of her desk as if in attempt to stabilize her anger. She could protect her Elizabeth, where Henry would merely bring in funds, manipulate those other than himself to care for her. Would he ever show her TRUE love and affection by making some sort of appearance at their daughter’s side where she, Anne Boleyn, had been doing so since the day she was born. ❝ She I S safe –❞ It would be constant that she would deny that he was right about it. Though Henry may not show his love as she had done so, he could build up walls that were thick and hold Elizabeth from all the dangers of the world. ❝ But I would FIGHT for her safety with all the resources I have. Henry? Yes, he would protect her from the filth that the world has created over the past centuries, but I know. I know that if ANYTHING truly dangerous were to happen to Elizabeth, he would give up on her. He had seven years to be a part of her life the moment she was born – SEVEN, Mister Cromwell. The only reason why he would be concerned about Elizabeth’s life and safety is because his new wife hasn’t been able to live up to his standards. Not yet, anyway.❞
❝ Shhh. ❞ Her voice is but a whisper at her older cousin as she comes back home. ❝ I just got Elizabeth through her FIFTH story and she’s tired enough to stop asking why won’t the princess simply climb down the tower and finally fell asleep. ❞ Katherine has a thousand and one reasons why the princess won’t climb down. Life is much more complicated than just getting away when you can’t bear it anymore. Sometimes you need a prince’s help… It’s a good thing she loves her little cousin, it’s a good thing she loves children, and it’s a good thing Anne lets her babysit. Anything so she can distract herself and get out of her mind.
❝ So, I managed to finger paint while preventing Mary from doing something she’d regret for the rest of her life, how was YOUR night? ❞
More late night visits at the precinct often kept Anne away from her children, and with her H U S B A N D who was also occupied with his campaign for governor, there was no one available to tend to their children. At least, that had been what HENRY thought until Anne brought up her cousin, Katherine, whom she knew was more reluctant to tend to the kids than anyone else. She didn’t mean to enter the home with a bang and a tapping of her heels. A look that merely read ‘Oh, I’m so sorry’, painted over the young mother’s face as she then moved over to join her cousin on the suede sofa. ❝ That four year old got her curiosity from me and her father’s stubbornness. So I apologize for that,❞ she noted on Elizabeth’s behavior.
❝ You got her to finger paint? She often prefers to read.❞ Her brows lifted, impressed. ❝ My night was LONG as usual – YOU should know that by now. Any other plans you’ve got for tonight? Or are you planning on crashing here again?❞
001: This blog is not my whole life, so replies will be delayed on this blog. Please bear with me while I try to get through them. I currently not only run this blog, but another one (which can be found HERE), an RPH and I am also in a roleplay group as an original character. On top of that, I also have Real Life things that come my way thatβll impact my activity.
002: This blog is classified as both βPrivateβ and βSelectiveβ. I choose to only interact with whom I choose and since Iβve a lot of blogs on my plate, confining this blog will make it easier for me. I also feel comfortable with those who I am close to when writing this muse. Please do not judge me.
003: Please respect me and the Muse I write as. Thus meaning no godmodding, Mary Sues or Gary Stus. I find writing/roleplaying a place where I can βrelaxβ and not have to worry about anything else.
004: Graphics such as the Dash Icon, the theme background, Janet Montgomery Icons, and the Promotional banner are credited to me. Other icons and images belong to their rightful owners and creators.
CHARACTERIZATION:
001: I currently portray Anne based on minimal factual knowledge and records with some show influence. I write as I imagine her to be and not as the vixen most visualize her as. You may dislike Anne or you might like her and my portrayal included in this mix. But please keep your opinion to yourself or if you must, come speak to me in private about it, donβt send in anons.
I will not play/write Anne right to the very core of her soul.
002: There will be triggers of blood, minimal swearing, smut and other things. All will be tagged. The mun and Anne are of age.
003: Though fatefully married to King Henry VIII, I am willing to move away from history if there be any type of romance to form. I dislike Anne's fate and believe that she had a better chance with someone else than the King.
Because I love chemistry between characters, I can get a little hyped when it comes to shipping. So if I spring on you the βHey, I ship _____ with Anne!β, donβt get so alarmed.
004: I do not interact with anyone who also portrays Anne.
BIOGRAPHY
Anne Boleyn was the second daughter of Sir Thomas Boleyn and Lady Elizabeth Howard. She was born in England, raised there until her early teens to serve as a Lady to Queen Margaret of Austria. Because the Queen took a liking to both her and her father, word spread of Anne's quick learning and grace. By the age of fifteen, the Boleyns made their way to France where Anne and her older sister, Mary, served as Lady's for the Queen and later her daughter. Here, it is unclear as to what Anne's life was like in the French Court. After several years of living in the French Court, the Boleyns returned to England on request of Charles Brandon, Duke of Sulfolk. Anne's father served as England's ambassador, therefore gave both his daughter the opportunity to serve as Queen Katherine of Aragon's Lady's. It was during this time that both Anne and Mary participated in a play to welcome the Spanish diplomats, in which Anne met the man who would be responsible for her death, King Henry VIII. From here, their romance sprouted with love letters and gifts, often being sent from the King himself. Anne often rejected them, for she didn't want his affection at all. In asking her if she would serve as his mistress, Anne denied Henry, only causing him to pursue her more. It isn't at all sure as to what finally caused Anne to fall in love with him, but the two then married in secret and conceived Elizabeth I. After several failed pregnancies after her dear Elizabeth was born, speculations against Anne began to stir at court. Convinced that his wife hadn't been a virgin when they were married and that she was responsible for witchcraft, Anne was sentenced to be beheaded, the same day that Henry and Jane Seymore were set to be wedded.
There aren't any potraits of the Queen Anne. Only descriptions and paintings of what she could have looked like, after her passing. From what most described her as, Anne had olive toned skin with dark hair and brown eyes. She wasn't at all remotely close to the "English Roses" that existed in England and on Court at the time. She was petite, standing at perhaps five foot three and had been quite slender. Most say that she wasn't at all beautiful but rather very average looking.
Anne Boleyn had been described as an intelligent woman full of wit and charm. She wasn't like most wmen, which many can conclude as to why Henry had fallen in love with Anne in the first place. She was very opininated and quite blunt, therefore didn't refrain herself from speaking her mind. Anne was playful, flirtatious and often drew men in, specifically, Sir Thomas Wyatt and King Henry VIII.
